Drawing Lesson
Using your Non-Dominant hand to draw is a great exercise to stretch both your comfort level in making imperfect works of art, but it also stretches the brain! When we are performing complex tasks like using fine motor skills for drawing with the non-dominant hand we are strengthening neural connections in the brain and even growing new brain patterns. When using the non-dominant hand both brain hemispheres supposedly are active, whereas only the dominant brain sphere is active when using the dominant hand. And did you know this expands your spiritual abilities such as being able to see auras- when both brain hemispheres work equally well?
Oh, I almost forgot- they say memory recall becomes better when practicing using your non-dominant hand as well. Better get to it some more myself!
Homework
Using your non-dominant hand make a sketch and post it on FaceBook in the Closed Group Artisessential
