Time Lapse- Intuitive Painting- Mandala
This canvas starts out with loosely symmetrical geometric shapes and then magically moves into a mandala made with white paint marker on top. This combined with the vivid colors makes the painting almost look like it is from Mexico or perhaps India, especially the saffron sunny tones in the background. Drawing mandalas is a whole lot of fun and super easy. I will need to write more about these.
Time lapse- Intuitive painting- FallSky
I lost the beginning of this video- all my drips and spraying on the wet paint that you have seen before. Sad, sad! I do love the patterns that the runs make. I wanted to show you the last stages of the painting because it is where people most often get stuck. The first part of spraying and playing and smearing is always easy. After that comes the part where I just don’t know where the painting is going to go and what it wants to say. I am looking for its voice so to speak. For this painting, stencils come to the rescue. Once I have placed the bird stencil it all “falls” into perspective (pardon my pun).
Timelapse Intuitive Painting- Shamanic Hummingbird
The start of this is a bright green color- it almost looks like a rainbow bridge, combined with the yellow and magenta stripes. This day called for purple and so the painting is on.
Technical Tips
These are older videos discussing the best pallet to get, how to clean your pallet, how to use a fan brush, the small round brush, and a silicon spatula.
