Supplies- and now also—-Exercises!

First the usual note of materials being almost the same as for the first class, except for one item I could not resist buying- I only use it in the intuitive paintings, not in the painting lesson. It is a beautiful color:

And please scroll down to see how to do the 5 Tibetan Rites. These exercises are super easy – like standing on the floor and spinning clockwise- but have been widely praised. The claims run high- they will take 10 years off your age, you will lose 15 lbs, etc, etc. I can’t vouch for miracles but I can tell you that the 5 Tibetans are wonderful for keeping the core muscles strong and flexible, and that helps both mood and posture- and keeping the chakras in balance.

I am totally cheating here as these exercises have been around since 1939 and there is a plethora of instructions online. Feel free to research them- there are a few different ways to do them it seems. This is the way they were taught to me 15 years ago so I am sticking with what I know!

My add-on comments are that the 5 Tibetans have helped me a lot. In spite of a slight scoliosis (curvature of the spine), being a mother of 4, doing cleaning jobs, construction jobs, office jobs, painting jobs, and haven taken my spills and falls when I keep to a schedule of doing these I can keep going and feeling good. And so I wanted to share them with you, dear ones.
