Supplies Section

The supply list is almost the same as for last month’s class.The only add-ons are these:

Golden Fluids 1 oz- Iridescent Pearl (Fine); Winsor & Newton- Pigment Marker- Warm Grey-6

You can create dragonfly wings using a fine brush but I found it fun and easy to use the pigment marker. The add-ons are on the supplies list to the right. To open the list, just double-click the image of the supply list on the right. You can save as pdf and print out the page you need and take to your local art supplies store.

Template

Feel free to make your dragonfly freehand or you can use this template. It is in pdf format and can be printed out in 8″x10″ paper size. I show you how to secure the template to the canvas in the painting lesson.

Journeying Ideas and Instagram Prompt

Look at the winged insects you meet on your path. They are everywhere. Greet them with respect and ask if they have a lesson or a message for you. Notice the patterns in their wings and try to catch a picture to share on Instagram under #paintingonheartsideofbrain.
